Last Updated: 15 September 2026
These Terms govern your purchase and use of the health insurance plans offered through the Bachatt app in partnership with Bharatsure and the respective insurance providers.
Overview
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of the health insurance plans ("Plan") offered through the Bachatt app in partnership with Bharatsure and the respective insurance providers ("Insurer").
By purchasing or activating a Plan, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms, the applicable insurance policy wording, and other applicable documents.
1. About the Plans
Bachatt offers the following health insurance options:
- Daily Insurance – provided by Care Health Insurance
- Monthly Insurance – provided by Care Health Insurance
- Monthly Insurance – provided by ICICI Lombard
A Super Top-up option is also available with the Care Health Insurance Monthly Plan.
The Plans provide health insurance coverage subject to the terms, conditions, exclusions, limits, and eligibility criteria specified in the applicable insurance policy.
Bachatt acts as a distribution/platform partner for the Plans. Insurance coverage is provided by the respective Insurer through the applicable distribution partner.
Your coverage is governed by the final policy issued to you. In case of any conflict between these Terms and the policy wording, the applicable insurance policy wording will prevail.
2. Premium and Payment
Premiums for the selected Plan will be collected in accordance with the applicable Plan's payment and billing process.
You authorize Bachatt, Bharatsure, the Insurer, and/or their authorized payment partners, as applicable, to collect the premium through the payment method or AutoPay/mandate set up by you.
The applicable premium, billing frequency, taxes, and any other applicable charges will be communicated to you before or at the time of purchase.
Continued coverage is subject to successful payment of the applicable premium and the policy remaining in force.
3. AutoPay / Mandate
Where applicable, by activating the Plan, you authorize the payment mandate/AutoPay for collection of premiums.
The mandate may be used to collect applicable premiums when due, subject to the mandate terms and applicable payment limits.
You are responsible for maintaining sufficient balance and ensuring that your payment method and mandate remain active and valid for successful premium collection.
4. Coverage
Coverage begins only after successful activation of the Plan and issuance or confirmation of the applicable insurance policy, subject to the policy terms.
The Plan remains active only while the policy is in force and applicable premiums have been successfully paid.
Coverage benefits, sum insured, waiting periods, exclusions, deductibles, claim limits, network hospitals, and other conditions are governed by the applicable insurance policy.
Insurance coverage is not guaranteed merely by initiating the purchase or setting up an AutoPay/mandate.
5. Failed Premium Payments
If a premium payment fails due to insufficient balance, payment failure, an inactive mandate, or any other reason, the applicable premium may remain outstanding.
Bachatt/Bharatsure or their authorized partners may retry the payment through the next eligible AutoPay collection or another permitted payment method.
You are responsible for maintaining sufficient balance to clear any outstanding premium and continue your coverage.
During any applicable grace or recovery period, your policy status and coverage will be governed by the terms of the insurance policy.
If the outstanding premium is not successfully recovered within the applicable period, the policy may be suspended, terminated, or otherwise affected in accordance with the policy terms.
Any outstanding amount, retry process, or payment status displayed in the Bachatt app is subject to the actual payment and policy records maintained by the relevant parties.
6. Policy Renewal
Continued coverage is subject to successful premium payment and renewal of the applicable policy.
Renewal may be unsuccessful if the required premium remains unpaid, the payment mandate fails, or any applicable eligibility or policy condition is not met.
Bachatt may notify you about upcoming premiums, failed payments, outstanding amounts, renewal, or policy status through the Bachatt app or other registered communication channels.
7. Claims
All claims are subject to the terms, conditions, exclusions, waiting periods, limits, and other provisions specified in the applicable insurance policy.
Claims must be submitted through the process and within the timelines specified by the Insurer or applicable claims administrator.
Bachatt does not independently determine the admissibility, approval, rejection, or settlement amount of an insurance claim.
The Insurer is responsible for assessing and settling claims in accordance with the applicable insurance policy and regulations.
8. Eligibility
Plans are available only to users who meet the eligibility criteria specified by the respective Insurer and applicable Plan.
Eligibility may be subject to the information provided by you during the application and purchase process and applicable underwriting rules.
The Insurer reserves the right to determine eligibility in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.
9. Information Provided by You
You are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during the purchase and policy servicing process.
You must provide any information or documents required by the Insurer for policy issuance, servicing, or claims.
Providing inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information may affect your coverage or claim in accordance with the applicable policy and law.
10. Communications
You agree to receive important communications relating to your Plan, including activation, premium payments, payment failures, outstanding dues, renewal, policy status, claims, and other servicing updates through the Bachatt app, SMS, email, WhatsApp, or other registered communication channels, as applicable.
11. Changes to the Plan
The Plans, benefits, coverage, eligibility criteria, or other terms may be modified, withdrawn, or discontinued in accordance with applicable law and the terms of the applicable insurance policy.
Premiums and other applicable charges may also be revised in accordance with the applicable policy and regulatory requirements.
Where required, you will be notified of material changes through appropriate communication channels.
12. Privacy and Data
Your personal information may be collected, processed, and shared with Bachatt, Bharatsure, the respective Insurer, payment service providers, claims administrators, and other authorized parties as necessary to provide, administer, and service the Plan, in accordance with applicable law and the relevant privacy policies.
